📍 Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi & Scenic Welcome

• Airport Transfer: Individual pickup from Tbilisi International Airport and hotel check-in.
• Capital Overview: Introduction to the capital city, settling in, and spending a relaxing evening getting ready for the journey ahead.

📍 Day 2: Journey across Gombori Pass to Kakheti Wine Country

• Gombori Pass (1,692 m): A breathtaking mountain drive through the Gombori Pass offering spectacular views of alpine landscapes.
• Tsinandali Estate & Enotheque: Visit the historic estate of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze, birthplace of the first bottled Georgian wine in 1841. Tour the house-museum, walk the manicured gardens, and explore the famous historic wine cellars (enotheque).
• Winery Tasting: Stop at one of Kakheti’s premier wineries for an authentic wine tasting, with the opportunity to buy wines directly from the producer at factory prices.

📍 Day 3: Journey to Western Georgia & Kutaisi

• Travel to Imereti: Drive across the country from Eastern to Western Georgia, taking in changing landscapes and architectural styles.
• Kutaisi Exploration: Arrive in Kutaisi (Georgia’s historical second capital), explore its landmarks, and enjoy traditional Imeretian regional cuisine.

📍 Day 4: Into the Realm of Svaneti Towers — Mestia

• Drive to the High Caucasus: Ascend through dramatic mountain gorges into Svaneti, the high-mountain region known for its ancient stone defense towers.
• Evening Arrival in Mestia: Arrive in Mestia, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and centuries-old family towers illuminated at night. Check-in and experience genuine Svan hospitality.

📍 Day 5: High-Altitude Svaneti — Ushguli & Mountain Views

• Exploring with a Local Svan Guide: Meet your local Svan guide, Jemali, who will share authentic stories, ancient mountain customs, and history.
• Jeep Expedition to Ushguli: Travel by 4×4 off-road vehicles to Ushguli—one of the highest continuously inhabited settlements in Europe. Visit the 10th-century Lamaria (Church of the Virgin Mary) framed by Mount Shkhara, Georgia’s highest peak. (Jeep ride optional/weather permitting).
• Heshkili Mountain Swing: Take a pleasant hike to the famous Heshkili swings overlooking Mount Ushba, offering panoramic views over deep gorges and alpine ridges.
