NEW YEAR IN TBILISI 2024

The most fabulous time of the year, when all the wishes of adults and children should come true. Everything planned or desired always turns into reality. And the main wizards of this celebration will be us, who meet you and know the exact words of the spell of the New Year’s Fairy Tale. • Meeting at Tbilisi airport, transfer to the hotel. Check-in is at 14:00 and you need to arrive in Tbilisi during the day.
• In the evening, we gather the whole group at one table and get acquainted, learn Georgian feast traditions, toasts, and get acquainted with Georgian cuisine!

Kakheti is preparing for the New Year!

“Are you eager to walk along Shota Rustavelli Avenue? Take your time, you’ll have time, we don’t like to walk. First, we’ll introduce you to our friends. To do this, we’ll leave Tbilisi and go to Kakheti. Here, vineyards dominate the landscape, monasteries dominate the architecture, and “Songs always talk about love. The city of love is the so-called Sighnaghi, an ancient city on a hill, which has completely preserved its fortress walls. Walking along these walls, we will admire magnificent views of the Alazani Valley.”

We will be fed lunch at the wine farm. To accompany the dishes of Kakheti cuisine, we will be proudly offered local wines with sonorous names: Saperavi Kindzmarauli, Rkatsiteli… Sounds like a song, doesn’t it? It’s only the beginning. Ahead of us is a tasting of vintage wines from the rarest microzones of Georgia in one of the best wineries in the country. Mosmieri Winery, Shumi is for true wine connoisseurs and for those who want to become one. And everyone wants it. What would New Year be without wine?

Well, let’s have fun, it’s time to know the honor. Let’s dive into the history of the region, visit the Tsinandali estate, visit the first and largest enoteca in the country, take a walk in the winter, but still green park of the Chavchavadze family.

“We Georgians love the upcoming holiday and prepare for it carefully, we love what we have created with our own hands – aromatic dedas puri (Kakheti bread), sweet churchkhela made from grapes and nuts. We will prepare both of these ourselves today in our master class. Bread , prepared with your own hands, is a good symbol for the New Year’s table, and churchkhela is an excellent gift that you can take with you and treat your friends at home. Before the New Year there is a lot of turmoil in every home, and we will go to relax, enjoy the fresh frosty air at the nearest ski resort of Gudauri. For lovers of skiing and snowboarding, this is the place. The opportunity to conquer more than one mountain with a height of 3200 meters. And who doesn’t engage in this sport – mulled wine, Georgian cuisine, sleigh rides and all the winter activities against the backdrop of breathtaking mountain views.

In the evening we return to Tbilisi and prepare for the night fireworks display. Here we provide a choice – for those who want a restaurant with a show program, for those who want to walk around the city and have an open-air concert, for those who want to retire on their own in a romantic setting.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The Bedoba holiday is the day of fate, according to the old belief, how we spend this day will be how it happens. Therefore, we will go out of town to the ancient town of Mtskheta.
